Going to be purchasing two or three Basic HD Licenses.

In regards to upgrades, I see this:

http://sites.fastspring....oduct/vmixversionupgrade
Quote:
Note: Purchase is not required for customers who bought vMix after January 1 2013
If you purchased after this date simply download the latest version of vMix from our web site and it will upgrade your copy automatically.

In the future, will we pay an upgrade fee (which apparently is the same cost as buying new $60???) for each License, just $60 for all or is this waived currently?

From the vMix website
Quote:
Once you pay for vMix you also get free Version upgrades for 12 months! After the 12 months you can pay a small upgrade fee to have the latest and greatest version of vMix.

yes, I read that but when you click on the upgrade purchase link (my post above), it states the Purchase is not required hence the question.

Hopefully someone at vMix will reply.

Today, we officially joined the vMix family.. first license purchased!

From the other apps we trialed, it seems vMix is way ahead in the performance arena with its GPU usage implementation ......
