ok 2nd monitor attached to the hdmi port of my gtx950.
swapped first and second in the nvidia panel and started vmix in full screen.
now i got 300 ms of latenzi (less than half a second) from action in real life and what appens on the 2nd monitor.
On the external (intensity pro) lag is about less than a second (600 ms at least) ..... not a real solution, but is better the vga out solution.
also video seems to be smoother with the gtx950, but i'm really thinking the point is in the pctv generic drivers ....

A bit of your problem is not much of us use composite inputs these days. So there is not much help for your specific situation, of people that use the same cards. You can experiment with other composite input cards, or get multiple or a multi-input SDI card with composite to sdi converter(s). That also opens up other possibilities.

I know. I'm trying To push collegues in the digital era, But in Italy jornalists are still Linked To the mechanical type writer :-)
Think that they need a technician To press the REC button on the audio recording software, for them, To REC the audio track of a news ..

For your information:
I've got 4 SD camera's (Sony SNC-RZ) connected to an Osprey 440 capture card and got 300ms delay between camera activity and full screen output. Using another graphics card has no effect on the latency (GT610 / Radeon HD7750 / GTX750Ti). The composite output of the Sony SNC-RZ camera's and the preview screen of the Osprey have no visible latency. The vMix render time is about 2ms and CPU is max. 15%. (no recording and no streaming)
My system can be the bottleneck: Win7 32bit, 4GB ram E8600 Core2Duo (3,3GHz).
I did a FFMPEG stream test with a fast GPU and a fast CPU: My E8600 Core2Duo with Geforce GTX750ti and harware encoding enabled has a much better quality stream result than an i7 4560U with Intel HD 5000 graphics without hardware encoding (total CPU lower than the E8600).

SOLVED (maybe, i hope). resolution in camera capture settings! On top of the picture attached, dropped frames for defaut vmxi settings (720x576 composite pal capture), bottom dropped frames for custom settings (768x576, analog composite pal input). A dramatic drop reduction!!! i suppose it could improove the signal and video managing. cross the finger and thanks for the help! allegfede attached the following image(s): Cattura.PNG (230kb) downloaded 9 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. i have bought new laptop Lenovo y700 and it has a specs i7-6700 hq 2.60 ghz, 16 gb of ram, intel hd graphic 530 and nvidia gtx 960m. I am using vmix 17 and when i see the settings its shows only one card that is intel hd one and not the nvidia one under performance tab. I would like to ask how can i run vmix with nvidia card and not intel one as when i right click and select nvidia card to run the software it crashes giving
Attempted to read or write protected memory, This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. Then below it is written D3DStartup
Can anyone tell me the problem or is that vmix is using nvidia at the backhand??

Can anyone tell me the problem or is that vmix is using nvidia at the backhand?? Two things, First right click on vMix icon and select Run with Graphics Processor > High performance Nvidia processor. Next after vMix is open go to settings> performance and select check box enable Optimus graphics compatibility. restart vMix
