The current version of vMix displays only the CPU used by vMix (at the bottom of the main window).
As the total CPU used by all the processes in the PC affects the final result, I would like to have this information displayed too. For example something like this:

EX FPS: nn fps Render Time: x ms CPU (vMix): yy % CPU (all processes): zz %

Ideally it would be nice to show each individual core, but I guess that is harder to implement. (We currently use the Windows gadget "All CPU Meter" when trimming in new configurations).

Seems that, at least on my production PC, that there is a discrepancy between the vMix CPU display and the Task Manager Display for vMix.

I'll look at adding a Total CPU usage level to the vMix status bar soon, but keep in mind it won't match exactly what is in Task Manager or indeed other CPU monitoring applications.
The reason is...complicated.. as strangely enough there isn't one way to measure CPU usage!

For reference the vMix method will match the Windows Performance Monitor:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc749249(v=ws.11).aspx

So that was my hesitation in adding this previously as I feared people would report a discrepancy and suggest that it is inaccurate somehow..

Martin

Although this will be a valuable feature for quick reference, it probably won't keep me from continuing my practice of always opening a Task Manager window to monitor these things during a broadcast or session (usually on my second monitor).

In the meantime a quick way to monitor the total cpu use is:
open taskmanager, go to options and enable minimize at use and hide when minimized.
After minimizing only a small cpu meter icon will appear in the tray and you can quickly see the processes by double clicking it.

Put C:\Windows\System32\taskmgr.exe in start menu, startup and the icon will show up every time in the tray.

Total system CPU usage has been added to the vMix 17.0.0.105 update!

It works good enough to leave the task manager closed from now on. Thank you very much.
