Problem using NDI while live streaming

I just tested a new setup including a few NDI inputs and when I started the livestream I got following error message in the streaming console after some time:

"[dshow @ 02578740] real-time buffer [vMix Video] [video input] too full or near too full (62% of size: 256000000 [rtbufsize parameter])! frame dropped!"

The stream was not really whatchable, lot's of frame drops and choppy audio, but the GPU and CPU load weren't that high.

Problem occured when streaming with hardware encoder and without it.

The problems ended, when I turned off all NDI inputs.

Are you sure your network is doing Gbit? Maybe there is a bad cable from your system to the switch forcing it to 100mbit?

The streaming console throws exactly that error when there is congestion and it cannot upload it's encoded stream.
So first check your network for problems.

I deactivated one of my NDI Inputs (I was using 2) and now everything works just fine, but it still wonders me, because I use the Huawei E5186 Router, which has 4x Gigabit LAN (and yes I'm using it over cable)

Is there a way to see how much bandwidth NDI uses?

Rinsky, you can use Windows' performance monitor (eg via ctrl-alt-del)

Your PC-s LAN card is 1gbps too, right?

I had issues with NDI and very similar Huawei Router too. So I used a Netgear 1gpbs switch, connected 3 PC-s to it + this router and there was no problem since then.

Had the same problem with a 4-port Gigabitrouter and 3 rtsp streams.

My solution was the same, connecting all cameras, Vmix and the internetrouter to a switch did solved the issue.
I think there is not enough thruput at the build-in router switches.
