A bit the same request like the 4K Touch Zoom Switching request, but I want to use a Logitech C920 HD camera to simulate a SD PTZ camera, without using the Logitech software. I like to move the virtual SD image within the total frame with the arrow keys and zoom in and out with the + and - keys.

What you describe is emulating the look of PTZ with flexible cropping, zooming & repositioning. You can already do this. You just need to preset the crop setup as separate shots. You can use the "Merge" transition to interpolate between shots.
What I would like to see is the ability to enter numeric values for the crop function. That would make it a lot easier to be exact in setting up shots.
