I'm a "one person orchestra", record, control the computer and serve as the "actor". I record Masses, inspirational and prayer videos. For the inspirational videos I follow an script, so I need to control vMix as I also read the script at the screen. Any advise anyone can offer will be GREAT!

Thanks,
Father Jose

What Graphics card are you using? There are a few different options to give you a 2nd monitor. If your graphics card has a 2nd connection for a monitor that would be the easiest. I have a GTX 970 by NVidia and have 4 monitors being used with my setup.

If you give a little more info on your setup I could give you more detailed instructions.

Thank you Chuck,
I'm just using a Win 7 PC with the factory installed options. Your advise is really appreciated. What should I do? How can you control the different monitors?

It will depend on what video connections you have available on the back of the PC. Most will have a VGA / DVI connection as well as an HDMI port. Are you familiar with these terms? Also you could post an image of the back of your PC and I can see what options you have available.

Have you thought about using an ipad or android tablet and getting hold of DataVideo's free DV Prompter software? The ipad version is here:

https://itunes.apple.com...rompter/id410825555?mt=8

and the android version here:

Here's Davavideo's overview video:
