Hi Martin! I'm writing because i want to know if you have a full guide about the API functions. I saw the Help... there is more functions than the exposed? If not, may be a future version could have the option to modify titles texts via API... Just a suggestion that will be able to connect vMix with other softwares without using more titles inputs. Regards!!!

Thanks Martin!
I saw both links but i didn't read slowly about API. I'm programmer (Visual Basic and PHP) and i didn't understood the explanation directly (i was waiting for a list of commands).. but with testing i understood. Thanks!!
vMix is just excellent!
Regards!

Hi Martin!
Here i am again...... I'm writing now just to ask you if there is any way to get information about vMix state over the API.. I.E., the actual input on PGM, or if external output is activated, etc.
Thanks!! Regards

At least that one can see: Code:
<vmix>
[...]
<preview>1</preview>
<active>2</active>
</vmix>

Hi mh166!
I was asking for taking information from vMix. The code that you have posted let you set an input, but if i go to vMix and change the actual input, i can't see that over the API... My question is about getting info.
Regards!!

The info is available by visiting the API url without any parameters. For example http://localhost:8080/API/ This will return an XML file with information about the various inputs including which are active. This is also described in the help: http://www.vmix.com.au/h...veloperInformation2.htmlRegards, Martin vMix
