This may be an interesting alternative midi control surface for Vmix. It supports midi cable and midi over usb, and is a nice solution with a T-bar. Going to test it out shortly and see how it works. Also pretty handy as a backup. http://proav.roland.com/products/v-1hd/

Its an interesting device, seems pretty limited in functionality for $1,000 though. 4 preview and 4 active channels with no controls for overlay or virtuals so would only be good for a relatively small production. The built in HDMI switching is interesting though.

Could be used just for camera switching and audio with a non USB mixer, while vMix handles the rest.

That is one thought. I am mainly interested in using it as a low cost control surface. I enjoy being able to use a T-Bar.
