If so, there are two different ways to output to the Blackmagic device in vMix either by selecting "Decklink Video Render" or by selecting the device name in the list, have you tried both of these options? If that doesn't help, please provide the system specs of the machine such as Windows version, Graphics Card, CPU etc. Thanks, Martin vMix

One thing to point out the external renderer isnt labelled Decklink Quad in vMix, so if you could confirm the exact naming I can confirm if it is correct. Also, any more information you can provide on the audio dropouts, what they sound like etc would be helpful. I am playing video clips with music on a constant loop, but if there is a particular type of audio that will show the issue more clearly let me know. Regards, Martin vMix

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for "improving" things, but unless you can provide a better (or worse in this case) example, I think it's a problem I could 'live' with in the grand scheme of things. Just my thoughts. Ice

If so, the ASIO device may have some settings utility to increase the buffer size to reduce dropouts.
