Martin, has the AJA Hi5-4K been tested to work with vMix? If not can you test it?
P.S., see if 4 cameras can work simultaneously please.

Thanks

This is an SDI to HDMI converter. The USB is only there for configuration updates.

That is correct. The Hi-5 4K is a converter that will convert signals in line, it will not allow ingest into a computer.

The Hi5 4K is a great way to get a quad link over SDI 4k signal converted to HDMI. We also offer a Ha-5 4K which takes a HDMI signal and converts it to 4 SDI for use with quad link 3g hardware.

If you need to get 4 SDI inputs our Io4k Thunderbolt device is a great option.

If you only need to get 2 inputs our ioXT thunderbolt option is a good one!

Hi Eric,

Nice to have an AJA rep on the forums. I currently own the IO 4k box and using it with vMix successfully. I need more 2 more inputs. Is the IO XT supported by vMix as well?

Thanks,
Mike

Yessir.

All of our current Kona and Io products use the same SDK.

There are some limitations around the ioXT however as it uses an older chip that cannot do independent channels.

the IoXT will let you do 2 inputs into vMIx they would just have to both be the same signal (IE 1080i5994 or 720p).

Thanks for using io4k!
