Hello!

I installed the vMix Trial Version and... what an amazing software!!

Anyway I have a problem while opening powerpoint and mov videos. I installed both Powerpoint and QuickTime but with ppt files I get a "Cannot create ActiveX component" and with mov files "QuickTime 7.6 or higher is not installed".

What am I doing wrong? May it depends on the OS (Windows 7 Home Premium in Italian)?

Thanks :)
Manuel

Hi,

PowerPoint 2007 or higher is required. If installing PowerPoint 2010 make sure it is the 32bit version.
For QuickTime, it will require a computer reboot before it will work.

Hi Martin,

thank you very much for your answer. Actually after the reboot, mov files can be opened.
Unfortunatelly my PowerPoint 2010 32 bit (I have Office 2010 Home & Student preinstalled on my pc) still doesn't work. I tried both with ppt and pptx files: the message is always the same.

Since I don't know Active X world, I have no clues on what the problem may be.

Regards,
Manuel
