I looking a putting a system together and I'm wondering if this PC would be suitable.

I have been a Mac user for well over a decade and have no Idea on a PC system.

From info I found on these forums I think this setup should work?

Cameras will be Broadcast Sony Cameras, Sony PMW500 outputting via SDI: XDCAM HD (MPEG-2 4:2:2 @50Mbps)

Matrox Quad HD Streaming/Capture Card VS4
NVIDIA Quadro K600 with 1GB Memory
System Drive: 1 x 7200 RPM SATA II
Storage Drive: 2 x 720 RPM Sata II drives in a striped RAID array

I was looking at putting this in a HP Z230 SFF Workstation
Intel® Core™ i7-4770 with Intel® HD Graphics 4600 (3.4 GHz, 8 MB cache, 4 cores)
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 non-ECC Unbuffered RAM (2 x 4 GB)

I would change the 8GB ran to 16GB.

I would also be running the Vmix pro version as I need the 4 x replay function.

Can anyone confirm that this setup would work please.

Cheers

@ Othila

I would look at improving your graphics card and also upgrade to SSD's if you are doing 'Replays'...

Thanks IceStream,

The graphic card I was thinking was the NVIDIA Quadro K600 with 1GB Memory.
The NVIDIA 960 2GB is recommended here on this site, I'll go with that.

Thanks
