Wondering whether it is possible to switch the slides of a ppt by using a corresponding computer when only using the web address given by vmix in the settings section?

Simple solution. Get a wireless powerpoint presenter such as a logitech. Try a low tech solution first rather than trying a difficult programming task.

Load the powerpoint into vmix then set up a web shortcut for 'nextitem' for input 'active.'

I use this all the time. I have my presenter use his laptop. He has the power point on it. I load vMix desktop capture on the laptop and choose the laptop in vMix desktop capture as an input. I then use the capture as an overlay. Works great!
