Attempted to run version 15.35 today and received this error message on start-up. This computer has an AMD Radeon 6790 video card that is DirectX11 compatible. Also tried the update to 15.40 and get the same error message.
Full Text of the error message below:
Graphic hardware is not supported DirectX9 compatible hardware required
  D3DStartup.D3D_NEW_EX D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE:Not available (-2005530518)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Running the DX Diagnostic (dxdiag) showed the DirectX features were not available. Reinstalled the AMD Catalyst Video Driver solved the problem.
