Below a link to a brief demo of a very early beta version of an application used to control which vMix input should go to IMAG (image magnification, typically a live cam projected at stage).

Not sure if we will offer this to other users. Needs a Windows 8 laptop with a touch screen, an HDMI input device (eg Magewell dongle), so it gets kind of expensive. Perhaps an Arduino/Rasbberry Pi solution might be more economical,

As I write this I realize that it would be very easy to control the Output instead of a Fullscreen Display.

What do you think?

In our case (in a mosque), we typically switch between one camera, some images, and a PC showing powerpoint slides, and we don't need a separate preview besides the vMix main window... So I've set up an inexpensive wireless numeric keypad hooked up to a Raspberry Pi. Each key on the keypad can be programmed (via the vMix API) to show specific inputs -- camera only, powerpoint only, both using picture-in-picture, black screen, logo image, etc.. The wireless numeric keypad is easy to move around with and independent of what's being done on the vMix PC keyboard/desktop, so it's a very convenient alternative to the built-in vMix keyboard shortcuts or mouse clicks.

I can share the setup procedure here, if anyone is interested.

@ Rehan

I would be very interested.
(perhaps you should start a new thread so as not to be confused with Richard's SmartIMAG)

Looks good, would service as a viable replacement for an ATEM in my case.
