Greeting we haven't heard from you in a long time, so here's a question, if anyone knows the answer. I should make a countdown, but if I could see the milliseconds as well. As far as I can see, there is HH:mm:ss, but I can't make it count down in milliseconds. Eg: 00:00:01:465 Look at the pictures. Has anyone solved it mili.jpg (96kb) downloaded 13 time(s).Wouldn't it be good if there was an option with milliseconds

The problem is that when we select the countdown option, the counter returns to 00:00:00 and I can't get any milliseconds.

Who can even read that fast not to mention one is not using a video framerate that could even show them all! if you really want to you need the HH:mm:ss.fff string added to that list within the vMix user.config file but would not do it it as the visual result literally looks like SH** (very slow updating) Works though used in countdown to time (clocks)

I'm doing a countdown for a competition, so sometimes less than a second is important.

Don't use the countdown for that (not suited) , use an external application , do not display the miliseconds during the count but only when final time is reached for nice look. If you want results in milliseconds make sure that the start and stop triggering are accurate also else it is pointless hence external timer source !

OK, if it doesn't work otherwise, I'll try the UTC program. However, it would be good to put the option mm:ss:ff in the display option in contdown

Actually it WOULD be a good idea. I too require a simple stopwatch that can display 10th and 100ths of a second. I'm working on graphics for a game show (not a sport with an official time). Previously the host used the stopwatch on their phone. Being able to use the vMix titler would really streamline things. I don't want to have to add an additional computer or use another input on my switcher to add this to my production. We have a small crew, so having something I can easily tie in with triggers would be such a plus.
Currently, if I manually configure the time to display {0:ss:ff} it works, but I lose all ability to control it (play/pause/reset to zero). If I have full control, I can only see seconds.
I think it's silly to bring in a separate app when vMix is 90% there.
