I'm using WorshipTools to present lyrics on the screens in the room via HDMI. I also send lyrics on the lower thirds to another monitor that I use NDI to pull into vMix. My NDI connection for lyrics to vMix hangs up every Sunday and I have to reset the connection to get it to go again.

Everything I've read points to network latency issues. The computers are on the same subnet. I've run ping to see if I can see any latency when it happens and I really don't see anything obvious.

Any help or thoughts on this would be appreciated.

It freezes even in NDI studio monitor on the Vmix machine?

I'll have to check that. I didn't do that but I can. Let's say it's frozen in NDI studio monitor, what does that mean and why is that happening and how do I prevent this? If it's not frozen in NDI studio monitor, why is it frozen in vMix?

Hello,
This sound close to the issue with which I'm having a dialogue with vMix support.

I'm seeing pretty random NDI source freeze with moderately complex projects. In the issue, NDI data would just freeze completely and if trying to change the NDI source or bandwidth settings from the input right-click menu, entire vMix UI will lockup completely despite FEIM enabled.

In my investigations I have noticed that using Sysinternals Process Explorer to restart the respective ndinode.exe process the NDI input can be restarted individually, which is currently not possible from vMix due to the complete lockup. The same effect might be possible from regular Task Manager processes.

Please report your findings here if also you have success with restarting/killing ndinode.exe process.
