Hi,
I usually don't use NDI for cameras and prefer SDI but setting up a system for a client.

They have 2 PTZOptics cameras HD - and I am testing using NDI. It is on a gigabit network and all is set OK.

But I also want to test and use the NDI HX3 option. ( I use that one for a Rodecaster video S they also use).

How can I force vMix to use HX3? And how can I check...

I also notice the incoming framerates vary a lot... Normally with SDi at 25 fps it is a neat 40ms but NDI is different. Do I need to worry about that?

greetings
Stefan

If you usually work with SDI, you could still stick with it and just convert to NDI where needed. Might save you some headaches.
