hi
I created one caller in Vmix. The project is 1080 25p. The IP and port information is correct. The stream appears to be coming in at 6mbit as shown in the attachment. The other side's encoder settings are shown in green. However, in Vmix, the input only appears as 25p and black. The resolution appears to be 32x32. The Vmix version was 29. I also tried 28.x.x.x, but it didn't work. If you refresh the srt input in Vmix, Vmix completely freezes. Could this be a video codec issue? I can solve the same stream on OBS. @ f2s

Can you clarify what the incoming source is?
Your screenshot appears to indicate 1080i25.
AFAIK, vMix only supports progressive SRT streams, not interlaced streams.

Hi,

We are seeing the exact same issue as you are seeing.

Using an Intinor encoder, 1080p output profile. "32x32 resolution" on the input. Also tried version 25, 28 and 29.
I have also tried using the VLC input for SRT in vmix. Then the decoder manages to decode audio, but not video.

When using VLC on the same machine. Everything works fine.

In 29 we get an error message in the srt settings SRT.ExitingDueToDecoderFailure SRTConnectionSocketThread

I came to the following conclusion. When sent as 1080 interlaced on the encoder side, I think it cannot decode because there is no interlaced support on the vmix side. When you set the encoder to Progressive, there is no problem. I came to this conclusion as a result of my experiments. Perhaps someone with definitive knowledge can verify this. I think vmix does not support interlaced in the SRT protocol.
