I've allocate stingers in the slots 1 to 8 in the overlay menu and stinger 1-4 trigger in interface button when selected, but not stinger 5 to 8 - instead the selecting stingers 5 to 8 triggers a fade/merge

Hi,

Could you provide some steps on how to replicate.
Here is a quick test I did which seemed to work:

1. Added a GT Stinger input
2. Opened overlay settings and assigned it to Stinger 8.
3. Set one of the transition buttons in the middle of vMix to Stinger 8.
4. Pressed that button and confirmed the stinger activated between the two inputs.

Hi Martin,

Thats exactly how I configured the stingers - I have 6 stingers and they all play in stingers triggers 1 to 4 but not 5 and 6.

Stinger overlay 5.png (200kb) downloaded 25 time(s). Stinger overlay 6.png (204kb) downloaded 24 time(s).

Hi,

You will need to configure a Duration and Stinger Cut Point if you are using Image Sequences.
In the screenshots these are currently set to 0 which disables the stinger, so check what exact settings you were using no the channels that were working.

My bad!! Didn't see the wood for the trees as they say!

I also added the cut point too, as that was missing.
