Hi, I'm having a problem with this program on my computer. Basically the program correctly reproduces multimedia contents but there is no audio output. When I try to adjust the general volume from the PC mixer, when the Windows alert sound is played, the vMix audio is heard for a few seconds and then stops. Furthermore, if I have another program running in the background (for example I also use Resolume Arena) the audio output of vMix works, but if I close Res.Arena the audio stops working again. I tried reinstalling the audio drivers several times but it didn't work. With any other program I have no problem, the audio works correctly, but with vMix I encounter this problem. Also when I try to close the program, it crash and I have to close it from the task manager. I'm using version 25.
If anyone can tell me what these two problems could be.
Thank you

I also find myself with the same problem. I have tried installing both Windows 11 Pro, and Windows 11 LTSC, but both have the same problem.
Audio doesn't work, a permission error is displayed on the mixer, but I can't get audio out except in the case described above, checking the device, or keeping Resolume open.
With windows 10, same computer, the problem does not occur.
What can I do?

Have you upgraded in Vmix 27 or if you have Vmix 26 at version 26.0.0.46 or vmix 25 latest availiable version that gives you?
Im asking because other versions in Windows 11 before Vmix 27 and in vmix 25/26 before the latest of each give some audio problems

Make sure you use the right output device in vmix settings. Don't use the windows standard as this can change by plugging audio devices in or by other software. Also check the windows volume mixer.
I had the issue that a USB headset was always plugged in but windows for some reason counted up an integer at the end when restarted. So from "headphone" windows renamed the device to "headphone1" and vMix was still set to headphone and thus no sound output as the headphone was not existing in windows at all as it was renamed to headphone1. When selecting headphone1 in vMix audio came back after vMix restart.
