We have Vmix on a computer and are projecting to another monitor and the screen. There has been a change in functionality in the last 2 months. If we run Vmix fullscreen on the computer monitor, about half way through our church service it will resize itself to half the size. Then it will display a message asking if we want to save changes as if we had tried to close it. It also automatically pops up the audio setting while playing a video.
Is there a setting I need to change?

Deb Thats some high powers at work ;-) define halfway , is this at a defined time after starting vamix, starting the computer ... Audio settings , windows or vMix one ? Did someone "work" on the system some 2 months ago ? Any scripts in the vMix setup or the system ?

                Let me share our process.
We play 3 videos at the beginning of the service, do a prayer, then another video, then a powerpoint sermon.
It happens at either the 2nd or 3rd video (not always the same), but once it happens it continues happening about every 15 minutes. I am recording the sermon, but at the point this happens I am not recording and no there is no scripts. We are very simple. :) At least I thought so.

Version 48.0.59.94 and we are using it on Windows 10. We can't upgrade to Version 11 and I don't want to.

Maybe the version was wrong. The build is 48059.94. Version is 27.0.0.89 v64

How is the setup, connection to the monitor and to the screen? With HDMI or SDI? Maybe a sketch.

Not sure how the hookup to the projector/screen would affect this, the resizing only happens to the monitor connected to the computer, but I'll try to explain. I'm not good at sketching.
Computer is under desk and monitor is connected to the desktop with HDMI cable and then another HDMI connects to second monitor. HDMI cable runs up through ceiling to the projector which sends signal to the projector screen.
The thing is that it worked correctly up until 2 updates ago. And the wiring has not changed since then.

If the issue persists with older releases then it is unlikely vMix fault and vice versa.

Sounds to me like a rogue or faulty input device such as a keyboard, touch screen, etc.

After much troubleshooting and reinstalling windows and vmix and other things, it turned out that it was a bad usb port. We had a touch screen monitor which was plugged into the USB port. We unplugged that (we never use the touch feature anyway) and everything has been working fine. Thank you to all that reached out to try to help us.
