I had a problem with my vmix last satyurday, the stream to youtube appeared orange with a message in Youtube that indicated that not enough video was arriving and when viewing the stream it was full of drop frames. I have to say that night I´ve found a facebook post by another streaming engineer from Portugal with the same problem. We discovered that more people had that problem.
In my case I ususally stream from external encoders (magewell) but I do some sports where I was confident on my vmix system, same equipment, same place as always doing 108050P with success less last saturday when I have seen that error for the first time.
After extensive testing I found that streaming to my streaming platform, Restream or any other destination works good. The problem appears when you send the signal directly from Vmix to youtube!. While I was live I was aware of this as I tried to send through another platforms with success!.
This is a real problem with profesional streaming people searching about it. I was using Vmix 27.83 tried .81 and now .85 without success. Youtube Error appears all the time, not if you send to another destination. Sending through a platform like restream, or an external encoder the problem dissapears.
It´s not about windows computer, internet, video card and so on, we should take this seriously as in that post I see people looking for a solution and writing vmix support without success.

Not everyone that uses vMix to stream directly to YouTube has this experience. But it seems that there is something in your vMix stream that YouTube does not like.
What are selecting for Streaming --> Destination? Are you using a drop down like YouTube Stream Now? If so, try using Custom RTMP Server and using this address: rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2. And of course, enter your stream key.
Do you get the same problem?
Hoping this helps.

I discovered that I had an unusual problem with my vmix, the stream signal was orange instead of red. I started to take a closer look at the problem and I didn't understand, on YouTube it was indicated that not enough video was arriving and when viewing the stream it was full of drop frames. Curiously, when I went to see the performance of my RTX 3060 I saw that as soon as the orange signal turned on, the graphics encode performance dropped. Even more interesting is when I turn off the cameras that are connected to the Blackmagic Deck Link capture card, the graphics performance returns to normal and the stream light goes from orange to red. If you turn the cameras back on, the graphics performance graph drops again and the stream signal turns red and the YouTube notification appears again saying that it is not receiving enough video. I tested all the hardware with OBS and everything seems fine, without any problems during streaming, including my RTX 3060 was at 70% at 4K

I've been fighting with orange streaming to YouTube for a while now using 1080p 60fps NDI PTZoptics cameras. It would run for about 30 mins then start doing it. I finally stumbled across creating a new streamkey in YouTube where I specify 1440p and 60 fps. I've done one live production and pushing 13 mbps to YT and it worked fine. I'm using a Dell Alienware Nvidia 3070 GPU. It's only running around 45% or so. Render times less than 10 ms easily. Kept saying I was running out of rtfbuffer space or some foolishness. I have a full symmetric gigabit connection so I know it's not network.

I'm experiencing exactly the same problem. Even though I'm using a computer with sufficiently fast Giga Internet and good performance RAM and VGA, sending it to YouTube will cause an issue message of rtbuffer to pop up and make it difficult to send. At first, I downgraded it to version 26 because I thought it was a problem of version 27, but to no avail. Developers, please fix it

I am also experiencing the same problem with YouTube, fully updated to 27.0.0.88 vmix. Been working for a couple years with no problems. 5900x 3080ti 64 gb RAM. Computer is running smooth with plenty of upload speed. We stream 4k to youtube and 1080 to facebook. The facebook stream is okay.

I am also experiencing the problem with YouTube, fully updated to 27.0.0.88 vmix and it still has this . Been working for a couple years with no problems. 5900x 3080ti 64 gb RAM. Computer is running smooth with plenty of upload speed. We stream 4k to youtube and 1080 to facebook. The facebook stream is okay. Youtube is choppy and says " Error YouTube is not receiving enough video to maintain smooth streaming. As such, viewers will experience buffering."
Thank you, -Dan

I dialed back the bitrate to 10 mbps, HEVC, quality p5 and still 60fps. It seems to have stabilized, but I am going to downgrade to 30fps. Just not worth the overhead for my purpose. I've noticed the bitrate going to YouTube is sometimes backing off from 10 mbps down to 8 mbps and in between. I don't understand why this is happening because this is CBR. The H.264, 13mbps connection seemed to really cause more problems though.
I switched back to my older Alienware laptop with 2070 NVIDIA card. It's even working now.

Hi, If you would like vMix to investigate this, you really need to contact vMix Support directly: https://www.vmix.com/contact-us.aspxThis is because the vMix Support Report contains crucial diagnostic information. It's worth pointing out there are no known issues with YouTube Live and vMix specifically. In our experience, the issue is usually due to a firewall/antivirus restriction, or limited bandwidth to YouTube through the ISP. In any case, please contact us directly. This is a community forum and technical issues like this can't be diagnosed here. Regards, Martin vMix

I am also having this identical problem for a few weeks, sorry I started a new topic about it before I saw this one. I have tried some things like changing the youtube ingest server from a.rtmp.youtube to b.rtmp.youtube or x.rtmp.youtube which has had some curious results - fixes the problem if you swap it mid-stream, but not if you start with it set to the alternative server. https://forums.vmix.com/...Stream-button#post116478Also, there are posts on the OBS forum with this problem so I think it must be something happening at Youtube... https://obsproject.com/f...aming-to-youtube.181380/

I started with one computer, it started to fail and at the same event it worked perfectly, we created another event with another broadcast key and with the one that failed it continued to fail, both connected to the same switch, the computer that failed at the same time sent by srt without drops to another location going out over the internet.

You using NDI? I did a manual upgrade to NDI 6. Seems it stabilized after that. I changed keys too. I’m not sure what cleared it up though.
