Based on discussions in this thread, I've stuck with 11.0.0.63 on my XP box, running DirectX 9.0c.

11.0.0.66 is the latest from version 11, .63 is NOT recommended.

With all versions, XP is no longer officially supported as Microsoft has stoppped support also.
Also, we no longer have any XP systems available for testing.

If it works for you, then by all means use it, but we can't provide support or fixes if something goes wrong.

VMix 12 is working OK with WinXP (directX9)
However there are some features that are not working in XP:

-streaming (you can use FMLE standalone)
-mp4 recording
-there is no virtual vMix audio output device in WinXP

With all due respect, I'm using .63 specifically because of a problem that was pointed out with .66 and XP in the thread I posted:

wwdv wrote:
I updated to 11.0.0.66 (uninstalled old version first) and got an error when starting vMix:
Can not find entrypoint from procedure CreateEventExW in DLL-file KERNEL32.dll
(OS is WindowsXP SP3)

This error is due to a component of vMix that requires Windows Vista or higher.
vMix will still run after you click ok, however you will need to upgrade to Windows 7 or 8
as XP is reaching end of life and will no longer be supported
