This is bizarre. Several times now over the past months when I disconnect vMix from Zoom using the plugin, all of my USB devices go dark for a moment. Keyboard, streamdecks, speakers....all black/off...then after 10 seconds or so they come back on. What the hell is happening here lol! I really wish vMix was available for Macs....it feels like one of those random PC issues that people just put up with and shrug it off.

The PC is an Alienware Aurora R16 tower, highly spec'd...and the USB devices are all on a USB hub that has it's own power supply.

Are there times when it doesn't happen?

Also, you mentioned your USB devices being connected through a powered hub. Are they losing power too or just the connection to the computer?

Yes, most of the time it doesn't happen. It happens like once every 10-14 days. I can tell they are losing USB connection, not power.

When it happens, I'd suggest immediately sending the log to support, then filing a ticket.

For now I'm turning off the power management for all my USB devices
