we would like to have the recorded files named differently than it does with the default syntax {0} - {1:dd MMMM yyyy - hh-mm-ss tt}. With this syntax it gives us files named like BuKo24_ - 19 Oktober 2024 - 01-45-03 - 00022.mp4
The date, time is always the same for all succeeding recordings showing the date/time when i hit the recording button the first time.
We split files automatically every 15minutes and want to know for each single file, when it started to be written.

like :
hit record
first recorded file : Buko24 -19 Oktober 2024 - 01-45-03
second recorded file: Buko24 -19 Oktober 2024 - 02-00-03
third recorded file: Buko24 -19 Oktober 2024 - 02-15-03

and so on

how can i achieve this by altering the default naming string in vmix settings?

thank you very much for helping

AFAIK you can't (wont respond in a way you like) as they all have the same date/time as defined but with a sequential number added

But you could write a script ( vMix or external app) to loop through the files (in a folder) , read their GetCreationTime and rename them according to your liking

Some apps they recognize the "series" of files and off an automatic stitching. What might help is a timecode that is integrated in the recording.
