Does anyone know if you can use RossTalk to control vMix from a Carbonite switcher? Just wanting to use vMix for graphics playout and was wondering if it is possible?

You'll need something in the middle to translate, vMix won't directly respond to RossTalk or anything the Ross will send out. Tally outputs are a good way to start though.

I created a new device at the Ross Dasboard under "Configuration" - "Devices" with "Type RossTalk", "Driver generic_1.0", "Port 8099", "IP Adress (IP of vMix)"
So I can create a custom control with "Command Category: Devices" "Devices: RossTalk (Generic)" "RossTalk (Generic): RossTalk Custom Cmd(CRLF)"
"RossTalk Device generic_1.0-S8" "Custom Cmd: FUNCTION Play Input=Abspann.mp4"
And now I can start the Abspann from the Carbonite console
