I’m using a Magewell XI400DE card. Between camera and computer I’m using a HDMI to UTP extender http://www.allekabels.nl...er-hdmi-verlenger.html). Using this combination VMix gives an error: unsupported input signal. As I connect a Magewell XI100DUSB between the HDMI to UTP receiver, it works well.
If I use the HDMI to UPT extender between a camera and an ATEM it works well and between a camera and monitor.

Do someone having experience with this combination? Or what kind of extender I had to use in combination with the Magewell XI400DE.

hello erik,
what kind of signal do you send:1080p25 ? or something else?
is there a way to check what comes out of the hdmi - utp - hdmi conversion? so what will go into your magewell card.

greetings
stefan

ps i have switched from utp to wireless using the fantastic nyrius aries pro with up to 30m line of sight connection with 1ms delay.
for longer distances i switch to using sdi, since this is more reliable...

Hello Stefan,

I have tried a lot of settings and combinations but it won't work. It's not a problem of vMIX because another captureprogram didn't capture too. SDi seems to be a solution.

Greetings,
Fred
