I'm looking for an OCR software that works well with VMIX. I need to capture a basketball score and insert it into a scoreboard designed with VMIX.
I've seen scoreboard OCR software used a lot...but it's very expensive. Do you know of any cheaper ones that work well?

Start and stop by hand :-)
You can't get around Scoreboard OCR. The software is worth every Euro!

I've never tried it, but a Google search brought up this free and open source project that claims to do what you want.

If you're still looking for a cheaper software try ScoreSight.Live they have a free version, but also a pro version at a much more reasonable price than Scoreboard OCR
