Hello,
Which motherboard do you currently recommend for building a high-end system with 4k cameras and replays?
The Gigabyte X299 Master board recommended on the website is no longer available on the market!!
Greetings Dietmar

for 4 inputs 4k60, many socket 1700 or am5 motherboards can do the trick.

all you need is 2 pcie slots on motherboard, 1 of which must be pcie 3.0 x8 minimum (ASRock X670E Taichi for example)

a graphics card on the 1st pcie x16 + 1 capture card with 4 in 4k60p on the 2nd slot pcie x8 (blackmagic 8k pro or quad hdmi card for example)

an i9 or ryzen 9 processor, ddr5 ram and ssd m.2 5.0x4 or 4.0x4

for example with an Asus ASUS ProArt Z790-CREATOR

pcie 1 = 5.0 x16 (x8) = graphic card
pcie 2 = 5.0 x16 (x8) = capture card 4 x 4k60p
pcie 3 = 4.0 x16(x4) = capture card 1 x 4k60p
thunderbolt 4 port (1) = external capture card 1 x 4k60p
thunderbolt 4 port (2) = external capture card 1 x 4k60p
USB 3.2 gen 2x2 (internal port) = external capture card 1 x 4k60p
USB 3.2 gen 2 (external port) = external capture card 1 x 4k60p

see motherboard manual, as some peripherals share the bandwidth.
it's in practice that you see the limits

examples of motherboards for 4 x 4k60p inputs (or maybe more)

intel 1700 :

ASRock Z790 Taichi Lite
ASRock Z790 Taichi
ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO
ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 APEX ENCORE
MSI MEG Z790 ACE
MSI MEG Z790 ACE MAX

amd AM5 :

ASUS ProArt X670E-CREATOR WIFI
ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO
MSI MPG X670E CARBON WIFI
MSI MEG X670E ACE
ASRock X670E Taichi Carrara
ASRock X670E Taichi

or to stay in the x299 tradition
you need to start with platforms for ryzen threadripper or intel xeon
