Hi There

Just wondering if anyone knows of a reset for the TY-1500HD switcher. Worked fine until I updated VMIX to version 26, and now won't change to proper sources. I have re-installed the config files with no luck.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

John

The TY-1500HD is hard coded to send certain MIDI commands as you press its buttons. As such there is no resetting this device AFAIK. If it isn't causing vMix to do what you want you will need to examine all of the shortcuts you have setup in vMix.

I will add that the way this panel uses its many shift functions leads to confusion in many users. Perhaps this may be the reason for your results.

Hi everyone, it is possible to customize the TYST1500HD a little using Central Control. My setup: Central Control, Bitfocus Companion, vMix. I don't use shortcuts directly in vMix.

The newer HD1500 operates slightly differently than the V1s. It can be used in Central Control with the generic midi device or updated with proper configuration in upcoming new version of Central Control. BTW the other difference in the HD1500 V2 is the joystick is now midi, too, which is completely unusable until CC brings out their update as well.

Can you expound on the shift functions? My top row seemingly randomly changes midi channels. I have no clue why.
