I am currently using OverlayInput1In & OverlayInput1Out to turn the overlay on and off(https://www.vmix.com/help25/index.htm?DeveloperAPI.html).
Now, I want to give a duration to OverlayInput1In, so when the overlays is turned on, and get turned off after duration.
is there any useful API for that?

Yes. Hit the gear icon for the input, go to Triggers. Add a new trigger. The trigger should be "OnOverlayIn". The function to execute should be "OverlayInput1Out" (or whatever overlay # you're using). And for delay put how long you want the overlay to stay on screen, in milliseconds. So for 5 seconds put 5000.
