I'm curious if anyone is having this issue with both program and preview video being blank when accessing vMix with remote desktop software like Teamviewer and Google/Chrome Remote Desktop. I get the same behavior on both: I'm able to access the vMix controls, able to stream, all of that works -- but I can't see what's playing! :P

I'm wondering if this could be a video card issue? I've tried all kinds of different display settings within Teamviewer and still no luck.

Thanks in advance for any ideas to try

We use six vMix instances under Windows 11 and all the time connect to those systems remotely via Teamviewer. Yes, Teamviewer sometimes has problems in correctly displaying the vMix UI (some parts of the window are not updated or at least update just after about 5 seconds), but entirely blank preview/programs I've never seen. Both issues (yours and ours) are certainly not really vMix issues. I guess it is more an issue with the graphics drivers and the capturing method Teamviewer uses.

Hello. If you dont have buy it, i suggest the free rustdesk and parsec which is also free for 1 monitor display. My opinion both are better than teamviewer

I have had that also for some remotely managed installations, often there is no active monitor connected (or a Displayport monitor which is turned off) while there is a Nvidia card inside.
When you check vmix settings / performance you notice the card is not in use.

I solved it with a dummy display port monitor (e.g. https://www.amazon.nl/ca...560x1600p/dp/B07XFB8KQV)
