  • Theres the web-controller built in

  • There is also streamdeck with the vmix plugin (has portablity issues)

  • There is also streamdeck with Bitfocus's Companion (has other issues)


What else have you all used.

Does any one use UTC - universal title controller (https://elgarf.github.io/)


I currently use StreamDeck with Companion - but trying to move away from Streamdeck/Companion

I should have been clearer.

I'm trying to get more labeled buttons on one panel and trying to find a software only solution where I don't have to dig down into folders.
I need 64 from the mappings I've done, that leaves some buffer and allows for static buttons like bus kills and chanel mutes visible all the time.

If your goal is to get away from folders, have you tried the web buttons interface for companion? You can have as many rows/columns on screen as you like, effectively allowing you to use a monitor/mobile device with hundreds of buttons visible at all times.

Or rather than folders you can make use of variables, or the shift feature so for example you could have 8 preview buttons, 8 program buttons, then hold shift and those same buttons are 8 different inptus, effectively doubling your buttons on a single Companion page.

You can also take a look into touchOSC and design your own surface to your liking.
