Hello,
I have some trouble with my streaming setup. So basically I stream car racing video games. I have a few overlays that display informations about the game. I would like to sum up all those info into an Excel file, and then use the vMix UTC to select the appropriate info.
So far, I managed to put the Excel file into vMix on the Data Sources.
On the vMix UTC, I managed to put a button to select the next row of data, it works well. But I would like to have an actual clickable list to choose from.
For example, I have a car info overlay, I want to be able to have a list in vMix UTC with all the car models, and I just click on which ever car is on the screen right now. I do realize I can create lists manually, but I would like the list to be liked to the excel file, because there is a lot of data to enter. Also, I would like the list in vMix UTC to automatically update when the info is changed in the Excel file.
Is this possible at all ?
Thank you very much !

What is wrong with clicking on a row of the (open) datasource window ?

What is wrong with clicking on a row of the (open) datasource window ? I installed the vMix UTC on an other computer, so it would be operated by someone else (and not from the vMix computer).

OK makes sense We create/use small custom userfriendly apps (.net) to have a display of a selectable datasource sending the info through httprequests to the production machine

To make it work in UTC, you would have to add the Excel file as External Data in UTC itself and use it as a Data Source on a List widget.

Thanks ! So I've done that, it works ! But, when I modify the Excel document and save it, UTC crashes and I have to re-open it. So yeah, I have to be careful of that if I need to change the information during the stream. Also, the Excel widget in UTC doesn't seem to support different sheets on the same Excel file ? It just loads the first one. So I would have to make new Excel files with each sheet of info. EDIT : Oh actually I saw that you can choose the sheet with the "Sheet number" thing, so it's perfect ! Thank again !

sorry not really (privacy) But the basic is simple; creating window form (vb.net for example) that contains Datagridviews of your datasource responding to a roww selection sending that data to a vmix title Google for vb.net and datagridview for simple examples
