Hello Folks,
I've built over 200 streaming systems for vMix to date, but this is the first time this problem has appeared.
System: i7-12700K MSI Z690-A Pro MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB 32GB DDR4-3200 Samsung 500GB 970 Evo Plus M.2 2x Blackmagic Decklink Duo 2
I built this system beginning of january and it was running well with 6 cameras and 2 outputs. After 6 days of production with no changes in preset and hardware i noticed render time peaks, which wasn´t there in the beginning. The System is running usually with 7-9ms and now it get every 10 seconds a 30ms render time for a second.
Even after a complete new windows installation and using all hints of the list "Diagnosing High Render Times" of vmix the problem still occure.
Did somebody has a similar problem or has an idea what i can do?
Thank you!

Hello. I see in m/b specs that pci3 slot don't connect directly to cpu pci lanes but from chipset. You have a gpu that needs 16x lanes, 2 duo cards that need 4x lanes each (preferably connect directly to cpu lanes) and an m2 that also needs pci lanes. Maybe all this is out of specs so you have this problem because i7 cpu has 20pci lanes.. In my occasion with i7 10700 I had blue screen when running vmix with gpu, m2 drive and a bmd intensity that needs 4x lanes. When I changed m2 with a sata ssd everything ok.

Unfortunately that was not the solution to the problem. This behavior is also only evident with only one capture card.

Maybe you are a bit too quick in this. According to ark.intel.com the CPU has 20 lanes. GPU = 16, m2 = 4 -> You reached 20 lanes already. Whatever is added to the PCIe bus is sharing from there on. I can really recommend using Server CPUs. I run a stone old E5-2630v4 with 40 lanes and never faced an issue until now.

On the surface you're not doing anything wrong. Most consumer motherboards will split your 16x slot into an 8x to give lanes to other slots.
8x is plenty enough bandwidth for GPUs these days, especially if you're running PCIe 4 (https://www.gamersnexus.net/guides/2488-pci-e-3-x8-vs-x16-performance-impact-on-gpus)
What do you have running on your network? NDI, streaming, simple internet?
