old GVG 100 panel now converted to drive Vmix, I have had a small batch of PCB's made and have now populated one and soak tested one, really pleased Decmber PCB 2.png (381kb) downloaded 3 time(s). C2vzghfUcAIuqDg.jpg (170kb) downloaded 4 time(s). PTZ3.jpg (414kb) downloaded 2 time(s).It uses a 19v laptop PSU and I have now added an inexpensive PTZ I think you can see it working on the CQ-DATV facebook

or If you just have a small diagram to make an i2c interface between the GVG100 and the Arduino, I'm interested. Thank you

Ypou need to visit https://cq-datv.ianp.uk/ebooks.phpI think the story starts in CQ-DATV magazine no 68 onwards, They are all free and stored as PDF files The software and circuits are on the download section of the same site I have found a PCB if you PayPal £15 to videovault@sky.comI will post out the last PCB to you (need an address) We only had s small run of PCB's made and there were a few revisions needed that are now all part of the final PCB Good Luck it is a brilliant mixer and pleased you have one and that this project will bring it back to life Let me know how you get on Trevor

Thank you for your quick response. I would have liked to buy your pcb but I do not know the cost of shipping to France and do not see how to pay in euros. I will take the time to read the magazine on the subject with my English school. thank you again

Hello trevoorB. thank you for your answers but after looking at all your articles on GVG100 interfave for vMIX, I must admit that it is too complicated for me. I was hoping to revive this great GRASS VALLEY mixer rather to see it finish at the recycling center and I imagined an interface that was easier to manufacture. But I see that my knowledge of electronics is too limited to try to reproduce your PCB card. Thank you again.

Sorry Valsy
It is a rather complex solution, they were really nice mixers and I had hoped to see that some of them survived. There is another conversion on the internet by Baz that interfaces them to the Black Magic switcher, that might be more use to you
Sorry I did not mean to make it complex its just the way it turned out.
Please dont break up your panel they still sell on ebay and somebody else might want to do either mine or Baz's conversion
Take Care
Trevor
