I just updated to vMix 24.0.0.72 and I'm getting a "Loading Preset" box that stays there for several minutes and then I get a "Your device ran into a problem window". I eventually get a message about mz0380.64.sys

Hi,

I know this is an old post, but same here, vMix is stuck at Loading Preset forever.

Thing is :
- Only one preset is doing this
- This preset is opening as normal on my other PC
- My other presets opening as normal on both PCs

Did you manage to find a way ?

Might be an Input (e.g. Audio Input) that requires a driver not functioning (well) on the PC with the issue.
Try opening the Preset and de-select Inputs that potentially might cause the issue.

For my case, you were right.
Even if not having any error message, inputs with a large video file was causing it. This may explain why a more powerful computer was able to open the preset.
I compressed these video files and it's ok now.
