Suggestion is to have a shortcut function for:

Input, Position:
X
Y
Z
crop X1
Y1
X2
Y2

The shortcut would have a configurable value, i.e. +1 will move (x, Y) 1 pixel to the right;
-1 will move it one pixel to the left.
When a button is assigned to this shortcut, pressing it 3 times will move the input 3 pixel on the canvas, starting at its initial position.

Use case: we use a scoreboard camera which we clone into virtual inputs.
The camera sometimes is moved in between events and we position and crop the virtual inputs before each event.

and here I am - one year later - not exactly a rookie using vMix, being surprised not to find these shortcuts already.

Absolutely a +1 from me.

(I think basically all functions should have a shortcut, and many should have a toggle as well)

Hi Amokka, kind thanks for the support.
I'm glad you share the same view.
vMix has many shortcuts but there seems to be no overall plan,
that makes sure they cover all functions. Hopefully, your support helps stipulate this need once more.

One can allready pan and zoom per pixel with a shortcut.
Also using a mouse scroll wheel with cursor over the position slider lets you change positions/values per pixel


Maybe should change the feature request to add shortcut for cropping too maybe

Being able to change crop for an input and/or layer from the API would be great.
Moving from Atem mixers to vmix, that is one of the features I miss the most.
