was wondering if there is a way to play some replays full screen - which is my default - and then replays to play in picture in picture while the live camera continues.
I have my overlay4 set to p in p - so is there a way to trigger the last replay event to play on overlay4?
I can set the stinger to play in p in p but then the replay goes to full screen..
  Thanks in advance.

Yes, I do this in my sports production using the Merge feature.
I have created a script (triggered by a shortcut). That script applies a double box input. In one box is the camera, in the other box is the replay.
I have text one the boxes that say "Live" and "Replay". I Merge in to the box and out.
  The script does the following:
Put the box in preview Pauses a few frames (MIX calls is sleep) Uses the Merge effect Plays the replay with the "play selected" command
BTW, I never use the stinger feature. I instead just use my overlays just remember you get 4 my overlays go like this
  1: Scorebug 2: Graphics 3: Watermarks 4: Overlays
Sometimes I bake in a watermark by creating a layer in each one of my shots. I do this whenever I use a telestrator on Overlay 3.

So I went and learnt how to write scripts and I have basically done it. You advise and guidance is very much appreciated.
After playing the last event to the replay box, how do I merge back out to live?
Everything else is working fine. Is there a wait for completion of replay before merging back out option?

                Maybe post your script here.
Are you using the function "ReplayPlayLastEventToOutput"? With this function, it should transition back to preview.
