Anyone know of a way to change the monitor numbers assigned by windows to GPU outputs? One of my fullscreen outputs I use to send a mini-mix output to a "confidence monitor" which is shown via a projector. Problem is the projector doesn't come on until after the PC and it gets assigned as "display 5". vMix only sees 1-4 as Fullscreen output options. Thanks.

Are you opening vMix after that display has turned on?
You could also look at an EDID minder so that windows always sees the display and gets a lower number.

what GPU are you using? vMix was designed around a single GPU and even suggests to only have a single GPU installed.
Have you tried switching which GPU output port the projector is connected to?

Thanks guys. I tried the EDID minder solution and all seems to be working well now. The PC sees the projector as connected before it is turned on. As to the root of the problem I guess I am technically using to GPUs. I use a Quadro P4000 and a USB to HDMI dongle so I guess that technically counts as a GPU? Everything works great just wish vmix would number them correctly and match the windows display options numbering and see that 5th display.

The P4000 has the option to load the EDID straight into the GPU negating the need for an EDID minder.
It also should only have 4 display outs. If you are using a USB to HDMI dongle. That is being driven by the integrated GPU and not the P4000.
