Vmix does not find my camera

Hello, I am new on this software and I vmix do not find my camera, I connected it with a cable HDMI.
I tried with other device with the same method but without result.

I have to look at the video on YouTube with the tuto but being French with bad English, I maybe missed something..

I use it not I am just connected by a cable Hdmi or usb, while following the forum I understood that it was necessary to use a card capture.

One is absolutely needed?

Yes you must plug your camera into a capture card in order to add it into vMix. See our Supported Hardware page for recommended capture hardware:
