Hi!
I'm using vMix with Core i7-10510U processor, 8GB ram, and just using the onboard graphics.
I had a 3 camera setup and it ran fine. One USB camera and two NDI/PTZ cameras. I just got two more NDI cameras, and render time increased significantly.
I found that with 4 cameras it's ok (render time around 20ms), but as soon as I add a 5th it goes up to 70+.
It doesn't matter which camera I remove, it's fine with 4 but not with 5.
All 4 cameras are running 1080p30, and the webcam says 1080p29.97.

Are there any recommendations on how to eek out a little more performance so I can run all 5 cameras?

You cant do magic but try to run one or more camera at 720p

Reduce the number of NDI and USB3 Camera Inputs and add a supported Capture Card (HDMI or SDI) to your system as that will help to ease the load on your CPU.
I would also recommend lowering your project settings to 720p (or lower).

First NDI is calculation power heavy. 4 NDI cams can also have an impact on the network. Check that all the data is travelling fine.
Keep in mind that a smaller bandwidth does mean higher compression and thus higher utilization for decompression in vmix.
That said the logic steps are
#1 Increase NDI bandwidth but keep an eye on the network
#2 Make sure only vmix is processing the NDI. Apps like the studio monitor consume resources as well
#3 lower the resolution if that is possible.
#4 Close other tasks to free some cycles
#5 Check other computer resources to identify bottlenecks in your system

#6 Add a proper GPU. This is extra money but will have the most impact. NVIDIA is well supported.

All good advice. I would add that I've done more than what you describe with a much older system. (i7-5775C, 16GB RAM, GTX750 Ti, SSD)
