Capture resolution is not supported by this device... - I want to record in 4096x2160 on my pocket 4k into VMIX

I have a pocket 4k camera connected to a cam link 4k going into my DELL ALIENWARE LAPTOP into USB 3.0 port, but I am getting a VMIX error saying I can only select Full-HD-Resolution 1080p.... Higher resolution is not supported. I want to record in 4096x2160
What can be the reason for that? Do I need a computer with really powerful hardware to get this working, or is this an issue of settings in vMix? I am simply using VMIX to record youtube videos, not to stream.

AddNewInput.The following are supported:

1920x1080 NTSC 29.97p MJPG
1920x1080 NTSC 29.97p MJPG

Unspecified error

MY LAPTOP SPECS:

ALIENWARE AREA 51-M
Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz
64.0 GB RAM
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
WINDOWS 11 PRO

p.s. I also tried connecting the POCKET 4K into the ATEM MINI PRO ISO, and same error.

SCREEN SHOT (also why does it say 2160p in bottom left corner in green, if it is not allowing it?

If you are trying to capture 4k content, make sure you are selecting 3860x2160p rather than 4096x2160. It took me half an hour to realize that 4096x2160p is not the standard 4k resolution and is not supported by the El Gato card.
