Dear Forum Members,
i am figuring out how to patch the ouputs of an AJA IO X3 to vMIX.
Inputs did work immediately but the output seams not to work.
I installed all the drivers, i shut down the whole system repeatedly, switched on and off the X3 device and unplugged it with starting vMIX new.

In "Settings" - "External Output" i set the fourth channel to hdmi and sdi with the tick set on "External Renderer" but the maximum i´ve got is an purple screen on the external output.

Does anyone have an idea?
I thank you very much.
Fabian

I think i can give myself the answer:

Output 1 is always SDI and HDMI
but if Out 1 is in use then Input one is no more available

So you´ve got maximum 4 Streams that can be used either as In or Output.

So if I put Channel 3 to external output it doesn´t matter if i choose HDMI or SDI in the preferences of the external Outputs in vMIX. It will always be SDI.

If i choose one of the channels then the dedicated Connector is active. And at Output one (if it is not set up as input) then HDMI and SDI are active at the same time at the AJA-IO-X3.
If you choose to take the channels 2 to 4 then the output is alway the dedicated SDI Connector.
If you want to teke HDMI as input you are only allowed to do so if Output 1 is not active.
