Hello everyone,

Just a short topic to report a weird bug with the new VLC Stream Input.
When I load a RTMP or HTTP stream, the bottom screen of the input will be cropped a little bit.

I upload a example screenshot, on the left a "browser source" with the correct resolution on the right a HTTP stream read by VLC with the "missing lines" on the bottom

https://tof.cx/images/2017/12/10/31dd1cee2c11e0dc8a50b78396604538.png

I tried several VLC argument like :fullscreen , :autoscale, :no-autoscale but with no sucess.. Maybe anyone has the correct syntax for the vlc command line ? I mean inside vMix off course.

Anyway, please could you correct this aspect ratio issue ?

Thanks
Best regards.

I have the same problem on 2 different Vmix Setup.
It would be very nice to have the full size input please :)
Cheers

I think it's an issue with the headers of the feed.
I use VLC input a lot with several encoders, never got a cropped image.

Does VLC play this stream correctly when used directly (not through vMix) ?
Did you try another player than VLC?

Thanks for answer DWAM.

The Video source is encoded by OBS and send to a NGINX RTMP server.

The result are :

VLC (not vMix) = OK
vMix RTMP INPUT (flash) = OK
vMix VLC Input = Cropped image

I think we need a update of the VLC for vMix since VLC get the 3.0 new version.
Maybe this update will fix the crop issue & more...
