Hello

Hope anyone can help me,
I do lots of zoom meetings with Product Managers and Salesmen;
with the COVID-19 shit. We need to do a meeting with streaming.

I find that the video and sound quality is bad and not very good, I always check on my iPad to follow the zoom meeting on the same Fiber network and the quality is terrible.

What is the best setting for zoom to stream on vmix?

Please, we have Friday a meeting again and your help will really be appreciated.

what is the quality setting delivered by zoom ?
Not using it but apparently frame-size and quality delivered by zoom is depended amount of participants and the one you put into full view (it seems they log in to separate meetings to have a full view of each participant on a seperate pc . apparently it also depends on free or paid zoom license and participants connection tweaked by zoom itself.

Zoom focuses on audio first then video

Note that Zoom is only sending low bandwidth streams during the Covid19 pandemic. I believe that they are limiting resolution to 360p for meetings over 3 people. The excption to this is if you have a paid business account (read large!) with them. It doesn't matter that you have set the client to enable HD. MS Teams does similar but Teams delivers 540p.
thanks 1 user thanked ask for this useful post.

If you have specific need, like your Zoom feed will end up on a large screen in front of a live audience, Zoom will do a one time HD allowance during Covid. If they don't find your plea very convincing, they'll shrug your problem off; as they get a lot of squeaky wheels trying to be the exception and get full HD restored.

Zoom support eluded to the idea that 'Zoom Rooms' don't having this resolution limitation. So if you have access to a Zoom Room and can figure out how to hijack the feed with a virtual webcam for Vmix... then maybe that's a way around the temporary covid-19 resolution downgrade.
