Running the same production and tasks with 19 as you did with 18, how does your CPU look?

Did 19 get hungrier? Leaner? Same sized waist or are we making another notch in the belt?

To answer my own question, yes, in my very modest home set up 19 is hungrier. By about 10%

Note this is on a VERY long in the tooth quad core machine with an 8800GT (thus the reason I was asking) but it still does what I need just fine. However in my very scientifically unscientific first test it ran an average of 10% more, not a constant 10% more.

Larger proper machines would probably not even see a real increase that matters.
