once in a while I am too busy to remove my recordings. I did a test, or had a long day out recording.
so once in a while I get the disk full and recordings stop. Quick remove of some files will fix this. but yesterday my intern doing the mix in a seperate room at a convention ran into this issue, but did not dare to do any thing.... i stepped in after 10 minutes and fixed it,but it would be helpfull to have
an indication of remaining diskspace of the recording space reported in the vmix info banner, next to performance, rendering time cpu etc. it could turn red at about 20gb left or something...
this way it would help dummies like me who forgot to remove the files after transfer to disk... (I always leave them as a backup until I am sure the transfer was OK and the files have been processed to finals)

Windows automatically pops-up warnings when disk are almost full.
Besides it takes one click on my computer icon to check this before any production.
Let's keep vMix do what it is designed for: live video production. Its goal is not to do what the OS already does...

i can cpu activity on the vmix banner also. but diskspace is just as vital.
and as indicated: I also use temp staff to do the mixing. when the disk is full vmix will stop.
there is space. I would also welcome a clock... this is on the system aswell but i alwaus bring one so i can keep teck of time in a quick glance.
live production is high speed, time is precious. i want to see the vital signs, as cpu and rendering time, dropped frames etc etc, disk space is one of them
but it could be a tick box option in settings if you want to see it or not.

+1: I really love to have all vital statistics in vmix, preferably in one window. It's true you can check almost everything in windows or with external tools, but to have all important info in one window is more convenient in my opinion. Often I'm running around between multiple machines and cameras on a production. If once in a while I can ask the producer to show me the 'vital statistics' page, to make sure everything is allright, this would be the best..

Vmix lower corner for cpu Task manager for cpu, ram and ethernet usage Vmix statistics about dropped frames in the stats Vmix statistics about audio in the mixer stats Disk info in 'my computer' Etc.. Might run an extra 50 inch monitor to monitor all of them, or ask to group it in one window and run it somewhere in the corner of a screen.. It's not because something can be done already, that ergonomy requests are 'invalid'. This request is about ergonomy, not functionality.

Let's keep vMix do what it is designed for: live video production. Its goal is not to do what the OS already does... Then why does it show CPU usage at bottom when it's so easy to find this in windows? Adding a disk % counter next to that, perhaps one that changes green to orange to red, is not a ridiculous request. Actually it's a pretty darn good one.
