I tried it and was really impressed.
Some quick background: 1. To make vMix wotrk with Skype I purchased a 2nd version of vMix (Basic HD version) which I installed on my desktop. My $400 version is on my laptop
2. Downloaded trial of Version 19 but it wouldn't install on desktop computer with the cheaper version of vMix
3. Installed it on my laptop and it worked great.
4. A couple of days later MXLight stopped working on my laptop. I couldn't resolve the issues.
5. Restored my laptop to day before last suuccessful broadcast. MXLight worked again
6. But this restoration must have wiped out vMix 19.
IS there some way I can install th BETA of 19 on my desktop computer. Can th licence travel back & forth between the two computers ?
Has there been any reportings of vMix 19 interfering with MXLight
I am hesitant to re-install vMix 19 on my laptop....
Advice...
I would really like to do some remote interviews this weekend as head into the playoffs in our hockey league.
Thanks
Whit

The vMix license allows you to install & activate vMix on 2 PC's with the stipulation that they are not used simultaneously. In other words, one on your main PC and one on a backup.
It seems unlikely that vMix 19 would cause MXLight not to function. If it would, it would have happened immediately, not after a few days. More likely there was an update somewhere that caused the issue. Rolling back, in effect, removed the update. Just a thought.
Does this help?

- Tom Thanks Tom Yes it does. 1. It dissipates my fear of vMix interfering with MXLight 2. Allows me to deploy vMix on my desktop machine. I do not have MXLight on it, so no reservations whatsoever. I guess I would just copy my "Licence" number over to Version 19 on my other computer. If this works I will be soo happy. I have just resolved two other major issues ( the MXLight failure to record/replays) (my autoscorebug supplying the xml file for using vMix resources to populate scorebug, Shot Clock and Penalty clocks) in the last couple of days and this would top it all off!
